Purchasing
You can get runes by trading pearls with other magicians. You can only trade one pearl with the same magician.
Furthermore you gain runes by solving quests or through your family tree. You can also buy runes for real money. You'll find more information in the chapter buy runes in the article magic.
Usage
You can use runes to:
- skill a hero, that rose a level during battle.
- join a guild. You need 3 runes to become a servant, and 7 runes to found a guild. You won't lose your runes, you just need to have the required number of runes.
- activate bonus features in the category magic.
- activate items.
- change the alignment of your magician.
- trade resources or ingredients at the merchant.
- teleport resources or creatures between your palaces.
