Purchasing
You can become runes by trading pearls with other magicians. With every magician, you can only trade one pearl.
Furthermore you gain runes by solving quests or through your family tree. You can also buy runes for real money.´You'll find more information therefore in the chapter buy runes in the article magic.
Important: You can find runes by sentinels in the troll world, but not in the dwarf world! In the troll world every sentinel can carry runes. You can increase the chance of finding runes by defeating sentinels with items with the ability Chance of runes by sentinels +X%.
Usage
You can use runes to:
- skill a hero, that rose a level during battle.
- join a guild. You need 3 runes to become a servant, and 7 runes to found a guild. You won't lose your runes, you just need to have the required number of runes.
- activate bonus features in the category magic.
- activate items.
- change the alignment of your magician.
- trade resources or ingredients at the merchant.
- teleport resources or creatures between your palaces.
